All Bands

What if your “20-pound” resistance band isn’t giving you 20 pounds?
When author and strength-training expert Kevin B. DiBacco tested resistance bands with a hanging scale, the results told a very different story. One band rated at 20 pounds produced only about 1 pound of resistance at the start, roughly 12 pounds at a 50-percent stretch, and approximately 16 pounds at full stretch.
ALL BANDS cuts through misleading package labels and explains how bands, tubes, mini loops, fabric bands, therapy ribbons, and power loops actually behave.
Inside, you’ll discover how to:
• Eliminate slack and wasted movement• Find each band’s true working zone• Create useful resistance from the first inch• Anchor bands safely and correctly• Build effective strength, mobility, and full-body workouts• Progress without relying on questionable weight ratings
Whether you’re beginning at home, rebuilding strength, staying active as you age, or adding bands to serious training, this practical illustrated guide will help you get more from every repetition.
Stop chasing the number printed on the band.
Set the tension. Then train.
