Sentenced to Blindness – Now What?

Morten Bonde has an eye disease that is slowly causing him to lose his sight. By 2016, his vision had deteriorated so severely that life could no longer continue as before. At the time, he was fully immersed in family life and a career with the LEGO Group. Then his whole world fell apart. At his lowest point, he suddenly gained a clear sense of how he could regain his courage and move forward with greater strength. He managed to find his way back from hopelessness and reclaim a positive and resilient outlook on life.

SENTENCED TO BLINDNESS – NOW WHAT?, written by Morten Bonde, offers practical tools and suggestions for how to navigate life crises and challenges. It is also a moving and life-affirming account of how, in less than a year—and with a visual field of only four degrees—he went from depression and stagnation to once again working as a Senior Art Director at the LEGO Group, and of how the key to such a transformation lies within our own minds.

His story is an inspiring celebration of life and a testament to how we can all activate our inner strength and live the lives we truly want.
