The Data Protection Act 1998 requires that personal details in accident books must be kept confidential. Individual record sheets can be removed and stored securely. Contains 96 copies of the record sheet, instructions on how to use the book, and guidance on the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1995 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1991. (HSE Website). Both 2012 and 2018 versions are valid to use, the only difference is updated content referring to GDPR compliance but that each book is no less compliant that the other
