Det er ærligt talt lidt chokerende, at Cari Mora er skrevet af manden bag Hannibal Lecter-bøgerne. Historien er dødkedelig, og personerne er alle klicheer og/eller ekstremt en-dimensionelle. Personbeskrivelserne er dog så grinagtige, at det næsten er værd at læse bogen bare for dem. Fx er én persons mest beskrivende træk åbenbart, at han spiste hele 2 avokadoer til frokost. En anden er flot, men slidt. Jeg ved ikke, hvad Thomas Harris har lavet de 13 år, der er gået siden sidste udgivelse, men det er næppe skriveriet, der har fyldt.
